Materials Coordinator

Introduction

We are looking for a proactive and organised Materials Coordinator, for a growing company in Poole, to ensure the efficient flow of raw materials, work in progress (WIP) and finished goods throughout the manufacturing process. Working closely with Production Planning, Purchasing, Warehouse, Production and Shipping teams, you will help ensure materials are available to meet customer demand, maintain inventory accuracy and support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the availability and movement of raw materials, WIP and finished goods to support production schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels, identify shortages or supply risks, and maintain accurate ERP/MRP records.
• Support production planning by updating schedules, tracking progress and communicating changes in priorities.
• Work with Warehouse teams to ensure accurate stock control, efficient storage and stock rotation.
• Coordinate the dispatch of finished goods, ensuring customer delivery schedules are met.
• Provide inventory, WIP and material availability data to support the monthly S&OP process.
