Job Title: Maths Teacher Location: Somerset Job Type: Full-Time Long Term (5 days a week), Day to Day Supply Pay Rate: £140 - £200 per day Job Overview: Looking for a rewarding role in education? As a Maths Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging mathematics lessons, helping them develop confidence, problem-solving skills and mathematical understanding. You will plan and deliver effective lessons, assess student progress and promote a positive learning environment. The ideal Maths Teacher will hold a PGCE and QTS or QTLS, and early career teachers are welcome to apply. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and deliver engaging Maths Teacher lessons. * Develop students' mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills. * Assess and monitor student progress in Maths. * Maintain positive behaviour and classroom standards. * Collaborate with Maths Teachers and wider school staff. Requirements: * QTS or QTLS certification. * PGCE or equivalent qualification. * Passion for teaching Maths. * Strong communication and classroom management skills. * Early career teachers are welcome to apply. * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply. * Full compliance with standard UK school safeguarding regulations.
