Mechanic / HGV Technician

Job Description We are currently looking to recruit for HGV Mechanic to join our Transport Department at our Glasgow Depot within our Mller Milk & Ingredients Distribution business. This is a great opportunity for HGV Mechanic looking to work for a prestigious logistics company, servicing and repairing a modern well maintained fleet of vehicles. The purpose of this role is to Repair and Maintain our HGV Fleet to comply with legal and company standards. Contract: Full Time / Permanent Shift Patterns: two-week rotating rota, covering day and back shifts. Rate of Pay: £20.84 per hour - £26.69 per hour (OTE £51k per annum) Shift Premiums Saturday - £22.45 per hour Sunday - £29.69 per hour Overtime / Bank Holiday - £29.69 per hour Unsociable (hours worked between 18 £22.78 per hour HGV Mechanic Responsibilities (will include but not be limited to the following): ~ To inspect and maintain our HGV Fleet Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and transport to test centre HGV Mechanic Key Skills & Experience ~ Qualifications required City & Guilds part 2 & 3 / BTEC / IMI in motor vehicle management or equivalent practical experience in the commercial vehicle industry.
