Duration: Ongoing Start Date: August 24th 2026Company Summary In partnership with Siemens Mobility we are recruiting for a large team of Technicians to build London's new fleet of underground stock, the Piccadilly line. This is one of the industries most exciting projects to be involved in, helping manufacture London's newest tube fleet. This will involve working out of Siemens Mobility's brand new state-of-the-art facility purpose built for this project! Position Summary: As a Mechanical Assembly Technician you will be expected to work in a safe manner, adhering to Siemens 4 steps to zero harm. You will be carrying out assembly tasks on mechanical parts, components, assemblies/sub-assemblies and interiors of trains for the world famous London Underground. Responsibilities Include: * Mounting of components, units or pre-assemblies * Assembly of mechanical components * Preparation work, drilling, grinding and riveting * Pipe fitting/bonding * Documentation of activities (Glass or Paper systems) * Utilising pneumatic, hydraulic and other fitting systems * Working closely to production instructions including all correct tooling * Conduct regular quality, sight and functionality te...
