With over 40 years of experience, the company provides design, installation and commissioning services across a diverse portfolio of projects within the healthcare, education, commercial, hospitality, residential and industrial sectors. With a strong pipeline of work secured across Northern Ireland and GB, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and progressive contractor.

Your new role
As Mechanical Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of mechanical packages on a variety of projects, primarily based in Northern Ireland. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing mechanical works from pre-construction through to handover
  • Coordinating with design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Monitoring project progress, costs, programmes and quality standards
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Attending site meetings and liaising with clients and consultants
  • Supporting procurement and programme planning
  • Providing technical input and resolving on-site issues
  • Reporting regularly to senior management on project performance

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in mechanical contracts management or project management
  • Experience managing mechanical building services projects from pre-construction through to completion
  • Strong commercial awareness, including experience monitoring costs, programme and procurement
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Proficient IT skills with strong reporting capabilities
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally
