Our client is a leading global manufacturer in the building products manufacturing industry. They are currently recruiting for a mechanical fitter to ensure minimal downtime and maximum machine availability.
Role & Responsibilities:
Mechanical fault-finding and repairs
Working in a team of mechanical fitter to ensure minimal downtime
Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed at all times
Following and completing all planned maintenance schedules
Ensure health & Safety standards are met at all times.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Experience as a mechanical fitter, mechanical engineer or in a similar role.
Engineering apprenticeship or similar engineering qualification
Knowledge of preventative and reactive maintenance
Mechanical fault finding & servicing skills
Hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge
Good time management, problem solving skills and attention to detail
