Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Location: King's Cross, London Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 16:00 or 08:00 – 17:00 Salary: Up to £50,000 (depending on qualifications and experience) About the Role A leading Facilities Management provider is looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team, covering a prestigious commercial portfolio based in King's Cross. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a commercial portfolio. Maintain mechanical building services, ensuring plant operates safely and efficiently. Complete PPM schedules, logbooks, and compliance documentation. Service and maintain a range of mechanical and building services equipment, including: Air Handling Units (AHUs) Fan Coil Units (FCUs) Pumps and motors Heating and cooling systems Plant room equipment Plumbing systems General building services Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults. Liaise professionally with clients and occupants. Ensure all work is completed in line with current Health & Safety regulations and company procedures. Requirements Level 3 qualification is essential in one of the following: Mechanical Engineering Plumbing HVAC Building Services Engineering Previous experience within commercial building maintenance or facilities management. Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience on mechanical building services. Good communication skills with a professional, client-facing approach. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. What's on Offer? Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience.
