Mechanical Project Engineer

Mechanical Projects Engineer Salary: £55,000 + Package Location: Halesowen Job Type: Permanent We are looking for an experienced Projects Engineer to join a busy mechanical contractor working on projects across the UK, including schools, hospitals and residential projects. This is a varied role involving both project/site management and hands-on mechanical work. The Role * Assist with managing projects from start to finish. * Work closely with the Contracts Manager and site teams. * Coordinate subcontractors and monitor progress. * Manage workmanship, quality and site activities. * Liaise with clients and contractors. * Carry out site visits and surveys. * Assist with project planning and programmes. * Support commissioning and handover. * Manage snagging and defects through to completion. * Ensure RAMS, health & safety and CDM requirements are followed. * Identify and report variations and additional works. * Carry out hands-on mechanical installation, repairs and alterations when required. * Use hand and power tools as part of the role. * Attend sites across the UK, with occasional overnight stays and night work when required.
