Mechanical Technician – Power Station Excellent salary + bonus + benefits Exeter, South West SCINERGY Recruitment are recruiting for a Mechanical Technician to join the maintenance team of an energy from waste power station in Exeter. This role focuses on delivering safe, reliable mechanical maintenance across the plant, supporting availability, efficiency and long-term asset performance. The successful candidate will work closely with operations and engineering teams to ensure plant machinery and equipment are maintained to a high standard. The role will involve: Carrying out planned preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance activities Diagnosing faults and completing repairs to ensure plant machinery and equipment are maintained to a high standard Supporting plant reliability and availability through effective maintenance practices and continuous improvement Working safely within Permit to Work and Safe Systems of Work procedures, including plant isolations Contributing to the delivery of maintenance plans, work orders and performance targets, with accurate updates in the CMMS Supporting shutdowns, outages and improvement projects as required Assisting with scopes of work and engineering specifications for external contractors where required Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, environmental requirements and site procedures Working collaboratively with operation...
