Mechanical Technician Start Date: Immediate Start Job Title: Mechanical Technician Type of Contract: Permanent Location: Bar Hill Hours: Monday to Friday Day Shift (early finish on a Friday 12:30pm) Due to continued growth, our client, a market leading manufacturer based in Bar Hill are currently looking for Mechanical Technicians to join their team.

Job Responsibilities Comprehensively read, understand, and work from technical and engineering drawings Assemble and weld small bore tubing and associated mechanical components to precise specifications (within 0.5mm) Perform mechanical assembly and pipe preparation tasks while adhering to cleanroom protocols Conduct vacuum, stress, and pressure testing to ensure product integrity and quality.
(Training will be provided for these tasks) Be prepared to undertake assembly and testing tasks at client or customer sites as required Regularly liaise with the Production Manager or Supervisor to provide updates on the status of goods, highlight any challenges, and suggest improvements Maintain a safe and tidy work area, adhering to all health and safety procedures Person Specification In to be successful in the role of Mechanical Technician, you must: Be able to read technical drawings Have previous experience with measuring tools, vernier callipers, pipe cutters and benders Possess excellent attention to detail and capable of working to precise tolerances Ideally have a strong mechanical aptitude, a mechanical qualification/background would be advantageous xwzovoh (Graduates considered) Have good communication and the ability to work successfully as part of a team Hours of Work, Pay, and Benefits Salary: £27,430 per annum Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:45 Friday 08:00 to 12:30 Overtime paid at time and a half 5% pension and 4 x life assurance Private Healthcare & Dental Income Protection 4x Life Assurance Discount platform Enhanced family leave Employee Assistance Programme Profit share bonus Annual merit salary scheme
