Near Pickering YO18 Hours:
Mon-Fri - 37 hrs This hands-on role involves assembling, testing, and inspecting mechanical and hydraulic equipment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Assemble mechanical and hydraulic components from engineering drawings and work instructions. Build and test subassemblies and finished products. Manufacture and test hoses, pipework, and associated components. Carry out functional and pressure testing where required. Complete production and quality documentation accurately. Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workshop environment. Support production schedules and project deadlines. Skills & Experience Essential: Experience in mechanical assembly or a similar hands-on engineering role. Competent using hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication and teamwork skills. Full UK license and own transport due to location of site. Desirable: Mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent experience. Automotive, plant, maintenance, or mechanical fitting background. Experience working with hydraulic systems.
