Mechanical Technicians/Fitters

Job Description FM Conway is currently looking to recruit a Plant Fitter to join our Aggregates and Asphalt division. You will play a key role in ensuring all required maintenance duties are carried out efficiently, including preventative maintenance, attending to breakdowns, and executing mechanical repairs, fabrication, welding and maintaining high housekeeping standards. This full-time permanent role will be based at our Heathrow depot, working on a four-on-four off rota.The duties of the Plant Fitter will include:Being a part of our maintenance team, on an alternating day and night shiftsEnsuring all plant and other defects are reported correctly and timelyConfirming the plant is complying with ISO 19001 quality standardsComplying with company health, safety, and environmental policy, highlighting any issues appropriatelyUndertaking other duties and any ad hoc projects as required by the businessWhat skills and experience do you need?To be considered for this role you must be a qualified Fitter and have experience in Mechanical repair skills also burning, welding and fabrication skills will be needed.We pride ourselves on our core values, creating a culture around Care, Innovation, Integrity and Excellence.
