Mechanical Technicians/Fitters

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Plant Fitter to join our close-knit engineering team. If you enjoy getting stuck into a variety of work, solving problems and keeping heavy machinery operating at its best then this isn't just another workshop role. Earn good money, with overtime available. · Safe job, with potential for training and development. · Plant Fitter, Heavy Plant Engineer - heavy machinery, engineering, recycling equipment As our Plant Fitter, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy plant and recycling equipment. Carrying out planned servicing and preventative maintenance. · Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic faults. · Completing inspections to identify wear before it becomes a problem. · Maintaining accurate maintenance records and job documentation. · Plant Fitter, Heavy Plant Engineer - heavy machinery, engineering, recycling equipment Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, Plant Mechanic or Heavy Plant Engineer. · Experience working on hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems. · Good knowledge of diesel engines and heavy plant equipment. · Experience carrying out preventative maintenance and inspections. · A full UK Driving Licence. Welding or fabrication experience. · Experience within recycling, quarrying, waste management or construction. · Plant operating licences.
