Media Teaching Assistant

Digital Media Teaching Assistant Remedy Education are looking for a confident and creative Digital Media Teaching Assistant to join a school based in East London. This role would suit someone with experience or a strong interest in digital media, creative technology, photography, video editing, graphic design or content creation. The school are looking for someone who can support students with practical digital media tasks while helping them stay engaged and focused in lessons. Role Details: Position: Digital Media Teaching Assistant Location: East London Pay: £100-£117 per day Hours: Full-time Start Date: ASAP / September roles available School Type: School setting The Role: As a Digital Media Teaching Assistant, you will: * Support students during digital media and creative technology lessons * Assist with practical tasks such as editing, filming, photography or design work * Help pupils understand instructions and complete classroom activities * Work 1:1 and with small groups to support engagement and progress * Assist the teacher with resources, equipment and lesson preparation * Encourage creativity, confidence and independent learning * Support positive behaviour and classroom routines The Ideal Candidate Will Have: * A background or strong interest in Digital Media, IT, Design or Creative Technology * Experience using creative software or digital media tools is desirable * Previous experience working with children or young people * A patient, reliable and proactive approach * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Confidence supporting pupils with different learning needs * An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one If you have any questions please call (phone number removed) or ask for Dylan at Remedy Education
