Join Our Client's Growing Water Infrastructure Team
Our client is seeking experienced MEICA Engineers to support the successful delivery of major water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in MEICA design, delivery, and commissioning to play a key role throughout the full project lifecycle, from design and construction through to commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, plan, and deliver MEICA and commissioning activities across project lifecycles.
- Coordinate with designers, construction teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget.
- Manage MEICA interfaces, outages, commissioning activities, and project risks.
- Review technical specifications for compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Attend and lead project meetings, workshops, and commissioning reviews.
- Produce and coordinate handover documentation including commissioning manuals and O&M manuals.
- Promote best practice across health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Support audits and compliance activities as required.
- Undertake duties as an LV Authorised Person where necessary.
Essential Experience
- 10+ years' experience in MEICA Design, Delivery and Commissioning within the water industry.
- Experience working on complex water and wastewater treatment projects.
- Previous experience as an Electrical or Mechanical Authorised Person on complex systems.
- Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle including ECI, design reviews, commissioning, quality plans, RAMS, and handover processes.
- Proven track record of delivering multiple projects from concept through to completion.
- Excellent leadership, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications & Certifications
- HNC in Engineering or completed Engineering Apprenticeship with relevant MEICA experience.
- CSCS/ECS Card.
- SMSTS Certification.
- First Aid at Work.
- Blue Water Hygiene Card.
- Thames Water Passport.
- Knowledge of applicable standards, safety regulations and statutory legislation.
- Professional registration or membership with IET, IMechE or SOE (EngTech, IEng or CEng) desirable. xwzovoh
