We’re looking for an experienced relationship and engagement professional to help grow an established network of senior NHS digital-health leaders.

This is a newly created, hands-on role covering a major annual digital-health event, its year-round professional networks and an established digital news channel.

Your initial priority will be to build relationships across the NHS digital-health community—including CCIOs, CIOs, CNIOs and CEOs—and turn that engagement into active participation across the annual event, specialist network meetings, webinars and other year-round activities.

This isn’t a traditional sales role, but it is proactive, commercial and accountable. You’ll need to be comfortable initiating senior conversations, developing relationships and delivering measurable growth in engagement and event registrations.

The role will include:

  • Mapping and engaging senior digital-health leaders across the NHS
  • Building trusted, long-term relationships with key NHS and government stakeholders
  • Growing and developing the year-round professional networks
  • Driving registrations and senior NHS attendance for the flagship annual event
  • Arranging regular meetings and activities for the different network groups
  • Identifying relevant speakers, topics and opportunities for collaboration
  • Working closely with marketing on targeted communications and audience growth
  • Supporting sponsor deliverables and wider commercial objectives
  • Helping shape the future development of the Networks division
  • Managing one team member who will support the administration of the networks
  • Monitoring engagement, registrations and other agreed KPIs

We’re interested in people from either of two backgrounds:

  • Someone with existing relationships across the NHS, government or digital-health community

or

  • Someone with strong healthcare events, professional networks, community engagement or audience-development experience who understands the market and can build those relationships

You’ll need to:

  • Be confident approaching and communicating with senior stakeholders
  • Have experience growing a professional network, community or event audience
  • Demonstrate measurable results across engagement, participation or registrations
  • Combine excellent relationship-building skills with pace, persistence and commercial awareness
  • Be comfortable using CRM data to organise outreach and monitor progress
  • Work independently while collaborating across events, content, marketing and commercial teams
  • Have experience managing or supporting the development of another team member

Existing NHS relationships would be a strong advantage, but they are not essential if you bring relevant healthcare market knowledge and the drive to build them.

We’ll be reviewing every application carefully and will contact candidates whose experience most closely matches the role. xwzovoh Good luck!
