MEMS Process Engineer
Manchester, UK | Full-Time | On-Site Are you an experienced cleanroom engineer looking to work on cutting-edge MEMS technology? We're seeking a
MEMS Process Engineer
to support the fabrication and development of next-generation MEMS devices within a state-of-the-art cleanroom environment. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to the full manufacturing cycle, from wafer processing and process development through to device characterisation and manufacturing scale-up. What You'll Be Doing:
Fabricating MEMS devices in a cleanroom environment Running and optimising lithography, etch and deposition processes Supporting process development and yield improvement activities Performing process inspections and device characterisation Troubleshooting fabrication issues and implementing process improvements Working closely with design and engineering teams on prototype development To be considered you will need the following:
Degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or a related field 2+ years' experience in MEMS, semiconductor or microfabrication environments Hands-on cleanroom experience Experience with some of the following:
Lithography DRIE / Bosch etching PVD sputtering E-beam evaporation Wet chemical processing SEM characterisation Wafer dicing
