MET (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim) Vehicle Technician Birmingham £40,000 – £45,000 + Bonus | Permanent Red Recruitment Group are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced MET Technician to join their team in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician looking to join an established business with a strong reputation and the opportunity to increase earnings through a bonus scheme. The Role As an MET Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical, electrical and trim repairs to vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with manufacturer and company procedures. Your responsibilities will include: * Carrying out mechanical, electrical and trim repairs to vehicles * Removing and refitting mechanical and electrical components * Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently * Working alongside other technicians and repair teams * Ensuring all repairs meet required quality and safety standards * Completing work within agreed timescales * Maintaining a clean and safe working environment * Following relevant health & safety and manufacturer guidelines About You The successful candidate will have: * Previous experience working as an MET Technician * Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge * Experience with vehicle strip and refit * Ability to diagnose and resolve faults * Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * A full UK driving licence If you're an experienced MET Technician looking for your next opportunity in Birmingham, we'd be keen to hear from you
