Process Operative £13.50ph - £15ph Days only, Monday - Friday 8am-5pm Tankersley - S75 Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build a career in a busy industrial environment? We're hiring for a Process Operative to join a modern metal processing and recycling operation. You'll be working as part of a team, operating processing equipment and helping prepare materials to meet production requirements. What's the Job? Operating processing equipment to size, prepare and treat incoming materials Setting up and operating equipment safely Carrying out mechanical processing including cutting, shearing, shredding, blasting and plasma cutting Packing finished products and recording daily throughput Monitoring processed materials to ensure they meet required standards Checking equipment and reporting any faults or issues Following all health, safety and environmental proceduresWhat Kind of Person Fits This Job? Previous experience operating industrial processing equipment would be highly desirable, ideally within metals, recycling or manufacturing. However, experience isn't essential if you have a good industrial background and are keen to learn and progress. You'll need good organisational skills, an understanding of safe working practices and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
