We are working with a leading international law firm seeking a talented Corporate Lawyer to join its London team at 2-4 PQE.
The successful candidate will join a well-established corporate practice, advising a broad range of clients on high-quality transactional and advisory matters. The role will provide exposure to sophisticated corporate work, including M&A, investments, joint ventures, restructurings and general corporate advisory matters, with the opportunity to work alongside experienced Partners and senior lawyers.
Typical duties for the role will include:
- Advising on a broad range of corporate transactions, including M&A, investments, joint ventures and reorganisations.
- Drafting and negotiating transaction documentation, including sale and purchase agreements, shareholder agreements and ancillary documents.
- Supporting Partners and senior lawyers on complex domestic and cross-border transactions from inception through to completion.
- Advising clients on general corporate matters, governance, structuring and shareholder arrangements.
- Developing strong client relationships while contributing to the wider growth of the corporate practice.
The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified Solicitor of England and Wales with 2-4 years PQE.
- Strong corporate experience gained within a leading UK, international or US law firm.
- Good experience across M&A, private equity, investments, joint ventures or general corporate advisory work.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
- A commercial and pragmatic approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team.
