Midday Supervisor Location: Gonville Academy – Thornton Heath, Croydon (CR7) Pay: Per hour  Contract: Part-time Hours: 1.5 hours per day Start Date: September 2026 The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with STEP Academy Trust. We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated Midday Supervisor to join Gonville Academy on a part-time basis for the academic year, starting in September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate individuals who are committed to supporting pupils during lunchtime and creating a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment. The successful candidate will supervise pupils during lunchtime, encourage positive behaviour, and support their social development. Key Responsibilities Supervise pupils during lunchtime and ensure their safety and wellbeing. Encourage positive behaviour, good manners, and respectful interactions. Respond appropriately to any incidents or concerns and report these to the relevant staff. Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to ensure a smooth and enjoyable lunchtime experience for all pupils. Requirements Previous experience working with primary-aged children is desirable. Strong communication and behaviour management skills. A caring, patient, and approachable manner. The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
