Midweight Interior Designer Location: Notting Hill, London Salary: £35,000–£42,000 per annum (Dependent Upon Experience) If you’re an Interior Designer who is genuinely passionate about exceptional luxury residential design, this is the kind of opportunity that doesn’t come around often. You’ll be joining a highly regarded London design studio with a reputation for creating beautifully refined, deeply considered private residences for HNWI & UHNWI clients. Their projects sit firmly at the highest end of the residential market, with an emphasis on timeless interiors, exceptional materials, bespoke craftsmanship and an extraordinary level of attention to detail. These are not formulaic schemes. Each project is individually designed around the client, the architecture and the character of the property, bringing together bespoke joinery, custom furniture, specialist finishes, beautiful natural materials, decorative lighting, artwork and carefully curated FF&E to create interiors that feel sophisticated, layered and completely resolved. You’ll working with outstanding suppliers, specialist craftspeople and beautifully made products, while contributing to projects where every junction, finish, fabric and piece of furniture has been carefully considered. The studio is looking for a Midweight Interior Designer with a strong high-end residential background who wants to remain involved across the entire creative journey. Rather than being confined to either technical design or FF&E, you’ll work from initial concepts and space planning through detailed design, bespoke joinery, sourcing, procurement, site delivery and final installation. This opportunity would be ideal for an ambitious and talented Junior Designer looking to take the next step in their career, or an experience Midweight Interior Designer seeking a studio that will offer them genuine career development whilst working on the best in luxury Residential projects Package • £35,000–£42,000 per annum (Dependent Upon Experience) • Annual Leave & Pension • Social studio environment • Access to loads of Design events, conferences, discussions and groups • Opportunity to work on prestigious luxury residential projects • Broad exposure across the complete design lifecycle • Vectorworks training available for strong AutoCAD users Office: Notting Hill, London Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday–9:30 am–6:00 pm Duties •Develop concepts, mood boards, layouts and presentation material •Produce detailed technical drawing packages, elevations and sections •Design bespoke joinery and architectural interior elements •Develop FF&E schemes and source furniture, finishes and materials •Coordinate suppliers, procurement, quotations and project schedules •Attend site, liaise with contractors and support projects through installation Requirements •Minimum 2 years’ UK-based interior design experience •Experience within high-end or luxury residential interiors •Interior Design, Interior Architecture or related degree •Strong creative, technical drawing and detailing skills •Experience taking projects from concept through to completion •Strong AutoCAD or Vectorworks skills and a high-quality residential portfolio If you’re looking for a role where you can stay creatively involved while also seeing your designs delivered on site, this could be a great next move.
