Are you an experienced Heavy Welder / Fabricator looking for a new challenge with a well-established company? Our client is looking for a skilled and reliable Welder / Fabricator to join the team in Droitwich. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced welder/fabricator with a background in heavy fabrication and commercial vehicles. The Role As a Heavy Welder / Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating and MIG welding large and heavy-duty equipment to a high standard. Your duties will include: * MIG / TIG welding heavy-gauge materials up to 20mm * Using 1.2mm welding wire when working on large and heavy equipment * Fabricating components and assemblies to engineering drawings * Reading and interpreting detailed drawings and specifications * Ensuring all work is completed accurately and to the required quality standards * Working efficiently to meet production deadlines Experience in the following would also be highly advantageous: * Plasma cutting * Oxy-acetylene cutting * Manual press brake operation About You We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and hardworking individual who takes pride in producing high-quality work. The successful candidate will: * Have excellent time-management skills * Be able to work effectively as part of a team * Be confident working independently and using their own initiative * Be comfortable working under pressure * Have a strong eye for detail and quality * Have a positive and reliable approach to work Experience Required * Minimum 4 years' experience as a Welder / Fabricator * Minimum 2 years' experience working with commercial vehicles * Proven MIG / TIG welding experience * Experience working with heavy-gauge materials * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Benefits * Overtime available at an enhanced rate * Company pension * Health & wellbeing programme * Free on-site parking Working Hours Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm If you're an experienced Heavy Welder / Fabricator looking for a permanent position with a reputable company, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for
