MIG TIG Welder Full Time - 40 hours per week
Based in Droitwich

Read and interpret engineering drawings?
Worked with aluminium previously? We are seeking an experienced MIG TIG welder to join a leading manufacturer based in Droitwich. The company pride themselves on craftmanship and are the most respected manufacturer in the UK within their field. Contract and Benefits of MIG TIG welder: Perm contract - with full time contract offered Monday - Friday role Weekday and weekend overtime available at premium rates Working hours 40 - Mon-Thurs 0700 - 1600, Fri 0700 - 1315 Onsite free parking Canteen and local amenities Pension enrolment Private medical insurance Core responsibilities of a MIG TIG welder: Operating Equipment:
Set up, maintain, and operate MIG welding machines and hand tools to create or repair metal structures. Reading Drawings:
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to determine specifications and layout. Fabrication & Assembly:
Cut, fit, and weld various materialstypically aluminium and mild steel Quality Control:
Inspect welds for strength, quality, and accuracy, ensuring they meet industry standards and project tolerances. Safety & Maintenance:
Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols (PPE), and perform routine maintenance on equipment. Finishing:
Use grinders and power tools to smooth, polish, or finish welded parts. Key Skills required for MIG TIG welder:
Proven experience working with aluminium Ideally have worked with both MIG and TIG methods Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings to a good level Willing to travel on rare occasions to client site for installs and maintenance Keen eye and hands on attitude Ideally come from a plant, commercial vehicle or structural background If you wish to apply for the role of MIG TIG welder, send in your CV and cover letter and a consultant will provide initial feedback within 24 hours of submission.
