MIG Welder - Corby

We are looking for an experienced MIG Welder to join a well-established manufacturing company in Corby, specialising in irrigation equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for long-term, stable work in a busy and supportive workshop environment.

Pay: £16.55/hr | Overtime: £24.83/hr

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00
• Friday: 08:00 - 16:30

The Role

• MIG welding mild steel from 1mm - 15mm
• Welding both thin and thick sections, with or without jigs
• Producing strong, water-tight welds
• Reading and following engineering drawings
• Preparing materials and setting up welding equipment
• Inspecting welds to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Meeting production targets and deadlines

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a MIG Welder
• Confident welding mild steel across varying thicknesses
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable and a good team player
• Flexible to work overtime when required
