MIG Welder / Fabricator (Temp-to-Perm) Stable Temp to Perm Location: Buntingford, Hertfordshire Rate Guide: £16.00 - £17.00 per hour, depending on experience Overtime paid at time and a half, good hours available - Excellent Earning potential This is a 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday. Rotating Early and Late shift We are seeking a Welder Fabricator to join a busy fabrication team on a temp-to-perm basis. This working on both an early and late shift, which rotates every 2 weeks. Hours: Early Shift 7:30am to 4:00pm. Late shift: 1:00pm to 10:00pm - A shift premium is paid after 4.00pm when working on the late shift Monday to Friday Welder Fabricator Key responsibilities: Perform MIG welding to produce high-quality welded components Carry out stud welding as required Fabrication work including assembly, grinding, tack welding and finishing Weld materials and components at thicknesses from 1.0 mm up to 12 mm Read and work from engineering drawings and specifications Ensure work meets dimensional and quality tolerances, carry out inspections and basic repairs Maintain a clean, safe working area and follow health & safety procedures Essential skills and experience: Proven experience in MIG welding in a metal fabrication environment Hands-on experience with stud welding Demonstrable ability to weld accurately on thicknesses from 1.0 mm to 12 mm Strong fabrication skills and experience with metal assembly and finishing Ability to work to drawings and tight tolerances Reliable, punctual and able to commit to the stated shift pattern Willingness to work on a temp-to-perm contract What we offer: Temp-to-perm opportunity with the potential for a permanent role Standard 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday Overtime rate at time and half Shift premium when working on late shift applied after 4.00 pm Opportunity for skills development and training HRGO Recruitment offers permanent and temporary jobs across the UK.
