MIG Welder (Solid Wire) – Peterlee Pay Rates * Day Shift: £19.55 per hour * Afternoon Shift: £23.46 per hour * Night Shift: £26.39 per hour * Overtime (Monday – Saturday): £29.33 per hour * Overtime (Sunday): £39.10 per hour The Role We are recruiting experienced MIG Welders for a leading manufacturing facility in Peterlee. Successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out high-quality MIG welding using solid wire on heavy fabrication and manufacturing projects, working to strict quality standards and tight tolerances. The role requires individuals who can confidently perform multi-pass welds and work from engineering drawings and welding procedures within a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities * Carry out MIG welding using 1.2mm solid wire. * Perform multi-pass welds to required specifications. * Work on heavy fabrication and manufacturing assemblies. * Weld components using build and welding fixtures to tight tolerances. * Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding instructions. * Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety. * Complete work within production schedules and quality requirements.
