Xpert Recruitment Solutions currently recruiting for experienced MIG Welders to join a leading UK manufacturer of aftermarket automotive emissions components based in Cheadle, Staffordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position with excellent earning potential and long-term career prospects.Your Role You will be responsible for welding and assembling automotive exhaust and emissions components using MIG welding techniques. The role involves working with light gauge steel (1.5mm-2mm thickness) and producing high-quality welds that meet strict design and industry standards.Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on exhaust components to precise specifications
• Assemble exhaust systems from individual fabricated parts
• Inspect weld joints and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Make adjustments and corrections where necessary
• Maintain and clean welding equipment
• Work collaboratively with team members across production
• Follow all health & safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE

Requirements

• Proven experience as a MIG Welder
• Experience welding light gauge steel (1.5mm-2mm)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Competent in operating MIG welding equipment
• High attention to detail and quality standards
• Strong problem-solving skills
