MIG Welder

Job Description We are looking for an experienced MIG Welder to work at our client based in Sutton-in-Ashfield. The successful candidate will be able to MIG weld components to the correct quality standard (ISO 9606-1) under production conditions. This involves interpreting Engineering drawings, marking out/using fixtures, preparing components prior to welding, welding, dressing and inspecting. /n You will need to have strong Engineering skills and at least 2 years MIG welding and fabrication experience, and to be able to weld 1.2mm easily. You will need to attend a weld test on site to prove this. /n Good communication skills, being a team player and having a 'can do' attitude are essential qualities, as well as having a good eye for detail and be a tidy worker with a good housekeeping approach to the working area.
