4pm - 2pm Monday - Wednesday
4pm - 1pm Thursdays
Fridays Off (3 day weekend)

The Role:
This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-quality precision-engineered components safely, efficiently and accurately.
Programming experience is essential for this role.

What You'll Be Doing :
Create, edit and optimise CNC milling programmes
Produce first-off components to engineering drawing specifications
Modify and improve existing programmes to reduce cycle times and improve efficiency
Maintain programme documentation and backups
Setting & Operating:
Set and operate CNC milling machines
Select appropriate tooling and fixtures
Manufacture one-off and batch components to tight tolerances
Carry out tool changes, offsets and machine adjustments

Essential Experience Needed:
Proven experience as a CNC Miller
CAD/CAM Programming experience is essential
Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Excellent attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Desirable Experience:
Experience with Hurco, Haas, Mazak or Fanuc controls.
Experience operating Haas and Matsuura machinery. xwzovoh
Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
