Mobile Forklift Engineer

Field Service Engineer - Forklifts Ipswich - £35,000-£45,000 DOE - Monday to Friday Holt Recruitment is working on behalf of an established materials handling company looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their team, covering Ipswich and the surrounding areas. This is a fully mobile role working on a variety of forklift trucks and materials handling equipment. You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs at customer sites, with a good level of independence and a varied workload. The Role: Field-based servicing, maintenance and repairs on forklifts Working on a variety of makes and models Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults Carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance Attending customer sites across Ipswich and surrounding areas Managing your own workload and completing service documentation Providing a professional service to customersThe Person: Previous experience as a Forklift Engineer or similar industry Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills Experience working on a variety of forklift makes and models Able to work independently and manage your own workload Full UK driving licencePackage: £35,000-£45,000 per annum DOE Overtime paid at 1.5x Company van + fuel card 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 25 days' annual leave + bank holidays Ongoing training and developmentIf you're an experienced Forklift Field Service Engineer looking for a mobile role covering Ipswich and the surrounding areas, get in touch with David at Holt Recruitment on (phone number removed) for more information.
