Mobile Forklift Engineer Location: Croydon, Greater London Salary: £36,000 – £44,000 (door-to-door paid) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 + overtime at 1.5x The Company Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established and growing material handling business, currently seeking an experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer to join their expanding team. Our client provides materials handling and access solutions to customers nationwide, with multiple sites across the UK and a strong industry reputation. The Package 24 days annual leave + bank holidays (32 days total) Door-to-door travel paid Overtime available at 1.5x Company van and fuel card (private use available) All travel time and expenses covered Ongoing training and development (mechanical & electrical) Long-term progression opportunities, including leadership routes Excellent earning potential The Role Diagnose faults, service, and repair forklifts and plant equipment Respond to breakdowns and carry out reactive maintenance Travel to customer sites to complete planned and emergency work Work independently while maintaining high service standards Liaise with customers to provide effective technical solutions Complete job reports and ensure accurate documentation Work on engines, batteries, hydraulics, and electrical/mechanical systems Requirements Previous experience in the forklift or plant industry (essential) Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills (essential) Experience working with hydraulics, engines, and battery systems (essential) Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ/City & Guilds – desirable) Full UK driving licence About Interaction Recruitment Interaction Recruitment supports clients and candidates across a wide range of sectors, including Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial, Finance & IT, and Hospitality.
