Mobile Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a leading automotive fleet maintenance provider operating nationwide since 2008. The Mobile Vehicle Technician role is based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, and offers an excellent opportunity for skilled and experienced Vehicle Technicians to join a reputable organisation dedicated to fleet maintenance and roadside assistance. Benefits: Basic salary up to £40,000, with on-target earnings of approximately £50,000 Fully equipped company van, including tools and diagnostic equipment 20 days holiday plus bank holidays Comprehensive two-week induction training programme Opportunities for career development and specialist training Work with a well-established, nationwide fleet support businessDuties as a Mobile Vehicle Technician: Perform on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to fleet vehicles across Milton Keynes and surrounding areas Deliver roadside assistance and emergency call-out services to minimise vehicle downtime Conduct DPF diagnostics, cleaning, and repair, with a focus on Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and MOT preparations in line with manufacturer standards Ensure all work complies with health and safety protocols and industry regulations Maintain accurate records of service and repair activitiesRequirements: Minimum of Level 2 NVQ or City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair; experienced time-served technicians without formal qualifications will also be considered Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills across a variety of vehicle makes and models Full UK driving licence (essential) Ability to work independently and efficiently at client sites Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailThe successful Mobile Vehicle Technician will be a motivated and experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician, capable of providing high-quality roadside assistance and fleet maintenance services.
