MOT Tester

We are seeking a qualified and experienced MOT Tester to join our client's reputable dealership in Wantage, Oxfordshire. Key benefits: Salary up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications Performance-related bonuses up to £5,000+ annually, paid monthly 30 days annual leave, including bank holidays, plus your birthday off Overtime opportunities, including Saturdays, paid at standard rate Manufacturer-accredited training to enhance technical skills Staff purchase discounts Long-term career development with South Oxfordshire’s leading independent car dealer group Workplace pension schemeDuties of an MOT Tester: Carry out MOT tests on customer vehicles in accordance with Ministry standards Diagnose vehicle issues and perform associated servicing and repairs Complete accurate reports and documentation for each vehicle tested Support workshop activities to maintain an efficient workflow Liaise effectively with team members to ensure high standards of service delivery Follow health and safety protocols and maintain workshop cleanliness and organisationRequirements of an MOT Tester: Active Class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence Valid UK driving licence with minimal points NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification preferred Alternatively, significant practical experience in vehicle repair and maintenance with an active MOT licence Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, with 1 in 3 Saturdays (8:30am-12:30pm)This vacancy presents an excellent opportunity for a dedicated MOT Tester looking to develop their career within a friendly, supportive environment.
