Job Description MOT Tester Location: NottinghamSalary: £32,000 Considering applying for this job Do not delay, scroll down and make your application as soon as possible to avoid missing out. - £36,000 DOE + Monthly BonusHours:Monday to Friday: 8:30am 5:30pmSaturday: 8:30am 12:30pm (Alternate Saturdays)Join a Respected Family-Owned Garage That Truly Values Its Team Our client is a long-established, family-owned independent garage with an outstanding reputation across Nottingham for delivering honest advice, exceptional customer service and high-quality vehicle maintenance.Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced MOT Tester to become an integral part of their close-knit workshop team.The Role As an MOT Tester, you'll play a key role within the workshop, carrying out MOT inspections to DVSA standards while also supporting the team with servicing, MOT repairs and light mechanical work where required.You'll be responsible for ensuring every vehicle is inspected thoroughly and professionally, maintaining the high standards that have helped establish the business as one of the area's most trusted independent garages.Key Responsibilities Carry out Class 4 MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations.Complete all MOT documentation accurately and efficiently.Carry out vehicle servicing and light mechanical repairs when required.Perform vehicle health checks and identify any additional maintenance requirements.Maintain a clean, organised and professional workshop environment.Work closely with fellow technicians to ensure excellent workshop efficiency.A current and valid DVSA MOT Tester qualification.Previous experience working as an MOT Tester within a busy workshop.A full UK driving licence.A genuine passion for the automotive industry.Pride in producing high-quality work and delivering excellent customer service.36,000 basic salary depending on experience.Monthly performance bonus.Monday to Friday working with only alternate Saturday mornings .Permanent, full-time position.Join a well-established family-owned independent garage.Modern workshop with quality equipment.Long-term career stability.Opportunity to work for one of Nottingham's most respected independent automotive businesses.If you're an experienced MOT Tester looking to join a successful independent garage where you'll be valued as part of the team and enjoy a great working environment with a healthy work-life balance, we'd love to hear from you.
