Motor Insurance Customer Care Agent £26,000 – £28,000 + monthly bonus + salary review after 12 months Rainham, Essex | 4 days office-based, 1 day from home Please note: candidates without recent Motor Insurance experience will not be considered for this position. Are you already working in Motor Insurance? We’re looking for an experienced Motor Insurance Customer Care Agent to join a growing, technology-led insurance business based in Rainham. This is not a generic customer service role. You’ll need a solid understanding of motor insurance and recent experience working with customers within a motor insurer, broker, call centre or similar insurance environment. If you understand motor policies, enjoy speaking with customers and want to build a long-term career within insurance, this could be a great next step. About the Role You’ll be joining a busy motor insurance team, supporting customers throughout their insurance journey and making sure they receive a professional, straightforward and positive experience. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Handling customer enquiries relating to motor insurance policies Speaking with customers by phone and providing clear, accurate information Helping customers understand their cover and policy requirements Making amendments and updates to customer policies where required Identifying and resolving customer queries efficiently Providing a high standard of customer service while working within insurance processes and regulations Working closely with colleagues to ensure customers receive a consistent experience Meeting agreed service and performance targets Identifying opportunities to improve the customer journey and team processesWho We’re Looking For Motor insurance experience is essential. We are specifically looking for candidates with at least 1 year of recent, solid Motor Insurance experience gained within an insurer, broker, motor insurance call centre or similar environment. You’ll also need: A genuine understanding of motor insurance Confident telephone and customer communication skills The ability to explain insurance information clearly and professionally Strong attention to detail when dealing with customer and policy information A customer-first approach with the ability to resolve issues effectively The confidence to work towards performance and quality targets A positive, team-focused attitude A genuine interest in developing your career within insurance What’s In It For You? £26,000 – £28,000 basic salary, depending on relevant motor insurance experience Monthly performance-based bonus Salary increase after 12 months Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm No weekend working 4 days per week in the Rainham office Work from home on Fridays once induction/training has been completed 20 days' holiday + bank holidays, increasing with service up to 30 days Free parking Excellent transport links Supportive, ambitious and genuinely friendly working environment Opportunity to develop and progress within a growing insurance businessInterested?
