Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias Preferred) Location: Wrexham Salary: £48,600 per annum Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (12-hour shifts – Days & Nights) Industry: Food Manufacturing Sponsorship: Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship available About the Role We are working with a well-established food manufacturing business in Wrexham who are looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their on-site engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced production environment where you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production machinery. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the site * Diagnose and fault-find on electrical, mechanical, and control systems * Work on a range of food production and packaging machinery * Minimise downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives * Ensure all maintenance activities comply with food safety and health & safety standards * Assist with installations, upgrades, and project work * Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation Requirements * Multi-skilled engineer with a strong electrical or mechanical background * Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent) * Experience working in a manufacturing environment (food/FMCG desirable) * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Knowledge of PLC systems (fault finding advantageous) * Understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards within manufacturing * Ability to work a rotating days and nights shift pattern What’s on Offer * Competitive salary of £48,600 * 4 on 4 off shift pattern offering excellent work-life balance * Opportunity to join a stable and growing food manufacturing business * Ongoing training and development opportunities * Supportive team environment Additional Information * Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship is available for suitable candidates * Candidates must be willing to relocate to or commute to Wrexham If you’re a motivated maintenance engineer looking for your next opportunity within a secure and growing business, we’d love to hear from you
