Title: Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias Preferred) Location: Scunthorpe Salary: £45,000, soon to be increased Industry: FMCG Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Shift: 4 on, 4 off (4 Days / 4 Nights) Multiple Roles Available! Multi-Skilled Engineer Benefits: * Competitive salary * Company pension scheme * Career progression within an established manufacturing business * Free on-site parking * Stable 4 on, 4 off shift pattern offering excellent work-life balance Key Multi-Skilled Engineer Responsibilities: * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across production and site equipment. * Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise production downtime. * Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with company Health & Safety procedures. * Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and production performance. * Assist with machinery installations, upgrades, and improvement projects as required. * Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement permanent corrective actions. * Complete maintenance records accurately using the site's maintenance management system. * Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards at all times. * Participate in the shift rota, including working Bank Holidays as required within the food manufacturing operation. Multi-Skilled Engineer Requirements: Essential: * Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities (electrical bias preferred). * Experience in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. * Minimum of 3 years' engineering experience within the food manufacturing or FMCG. * Strong understanding of preventative and reactive maintenance techniques. * Good project management skills with a detailed knowledge of Health & Safety legislation. Desired: * Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship. * HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or Building Services
