Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Uxbridge | £48,000 DOE | Permanent Monday-Friday | No Nights | 1 in 3 Call Out Looking for a solid all-round maintenance role with a good package and a genuinely decent site? We're recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to work at a major corporate head office in Uxbridge. It's a small engineering team, so they're looking for someone who is happy to get stuck in, work independently and deal with the everyday maintenance issues rather than someone who wants to specialise in one thing. What's on offer? * £48,000 DOE * Monday-Friday * 6am-2pm / 12pm-8pm rotating weekly * No nights * 1 in 3 call out * £150 standby * £200 standby during bank holiday weeks * Minimum 4 hours' pay per call out * 25 days holiday + bank holidays * Free onsite parking * Subsidised canteen * Uxbridge Station right next door * Permanent position with a strong employer The Site You'll be working at a large corporate head office in Uxbridge. It's an office environment rather than a manufacturing site, with around (Apply online only) people on site on a busy day. The engineering team is small, so you'll have plenty of variety and responsibility. Anything highly specialist is dealt with by specialist contractors, so you don't need to be the finished article technically. What we're looking for We're after a good all-round maintenance engineer with a mechanical bias. You'll ideally have experience with: * Commercial building maintenance * Mechanical maintenance * Plumbing * Pumps and FCUs * Water hygiene * PPMs and reactive maintenance * Fault finding * Basic electrical maintenance * Lighting and emergency lighting Most importantly, you need to be the type of engineer who gets stuck in. Someone who can: * Work independently * Pick up everyday faults * Turn their hand to different trades * Deal professionally with the client * Take ownership rather than saying "that's not my job" The Important Bit: You'll get two weeks of onsite support and training when you start. After that, you'll have your own site pass and be trusted to get on with the job. The current engineer is leaving at the end of the month, so they're looking to move quickly for the right person.
