iRecruit4 are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Operative to join a well-established company based on the outskirts of Swindon. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong practical background who is looking for a long-term position with the potential to become permanent. The role is hands-on and varied, working as part of a busy team to maintain and prepare temporary buildings. You will use your practical skills across a range of general maintenance, refurbishment and repair work. Hours, Pay & Benefits for Multi Skilled Operative : £15.00 per hour Monday to Friday 7:30am 5:00pm 45 hours per week Temp-to-perm opportunity Weekly pay Employee Benefits Package Monthly voucher incentives Pension contribution Free parking Wellness & health package Healthcare support Pay increase once permanent Opportunity to earn up to an additional £2 per hour through a merit scheme (Once permanent ) 33 days' annual leave including bank holidays and festive shutdown (Once permanent) Cycle to work scheme Employee Assistance Programme Key Responsibilities for Multi Skilled Operative : Carrying out general maintenance and refurbishment work Plastering and patching Carpentry and joinery work Refitting and installing fixtures Basic plumbing and repair work Using hand and power tools Preparing temporary buildings ready for customer use Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard Working as part of a team to meet deadlines Requirements for Multi Skilled Operative : Previous experience in a multi-skilled maintenance, construction or property maintenance role Practical experience with carpentry, plastering and general refurbishment Experience with plumbing or electrical work would be advantageous Confident using hand and power tools Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions Physically fit and able to carry out manual work Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team If you are looking for a varied, hands-on role with excellent long-term potential, please click apply now or call Shannon on 01793 987470.
