North Yorkshire (Harrogate area)

Up to £56,650 + bonus

12-hour shifts | Days & Nights | 6–6 rotation

The Role


As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting a technically advanced FMCG site, working on modern production and packaging equipment in a fast-paced environment.


You will be responsible for:



  • Fault finding on PLC-controlled, automated production machinery


Planned preventative maintenance and controlled reactive maintenance


Diagnosing electrical faults on motors, drives, inverters, sensors and control panels


Supporting continuous improvement activities and root cause analysis


Working closely with production to maximise line efficiency and performance


Maintaining high engineering and safety standards within a food manufacturing environment



The Person



  • Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias


Experience within FMCG, food, drink, packaging or high-speed manufacturing


Confident fault finding on automated machinery and electrical control systems


Able to work independently and make effective decisions under pressure


Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent



Desirable:



  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations


Experience working with PLC systems such as Siemens or Allen Bradley


Understanding of HACCP, BRC and food safety standards
