Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer Northampton Salary: £62,000 - £66,000 OTE 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights) We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to join a leading FMCG beverage manufacturing business in Northampton. Working within a highly automated production environment, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement activities to ensure maximum plant reliability and performance. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience gained within FMCG, food, beverage, or other fast-paced manufacturing environments. Experience fault-finding on automated production machinery, motors, drives, conveyors, pumps, PLC-controlled equipment, and pneumatic systems would be highly advantageous. Key Responsibilities: Planned preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs Supporting continuous improvement and root cause analysis projects Working safely in line with HSE and LOTO procedures Maintaining accurate maintenance records through CMMSRequirements: NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or HNC in Engineering Multi-skilled maintenance experience within manufacturing Strong electrical fault-finding skills Ability to work a rotating 4 on 4 off days and nights shift patternPackage: Basic Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 Shift Allowance: £11,188 Skills Supplement: Up to £5,500 Company Bonus Enhanced Pension Life Assurance 24/7 GP Access High Street Discounts Monthly Product AllowanceThis is an excellent opportunity to join a well-invested manufacturing site offering long-term career development, excellent benefits, and strong earning potential
