Telford £40,247 per annum Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm | Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business in Telford. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically or mechanically biased engineer looking to join a stable company that offers long-term career progression and the potential to increase earnings in the future. Initially, this role will operate on a days-based schedule, providing a great work-life balance with an early finish every Friday. There is also the opportunity to progress onto a Panama days shift pattern in the future, which will come with a corresponding salary increase. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production and site equipment.
Respond to machinery breakdowns and minimise downtime.
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
Complete maintenance documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Work closely with production teams to ensure operational efficiency.
Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment when required. About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Experience working in a maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Electrical and/or mechanical engineering knowledge.
Experience carrying out both reactive and preventative maintenance.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Relevant engineering qualifications would be advantageous. What's On Offer? Salary of £40,247
