Senior Engineering Team Lead ?? Hybrid(2 days in office) | Permanent We're partnering with an established technology business undergoing a major platform transformation and looking to hire a Senior Engineering Team Lead to drive technical delivery, architecture, and team development. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll split your time between building scalable software, setting technical direction, and helping engineers grow and succeed. What you'll be doing ? Leading a product-focused engineering squad ? Driving architecture, system design, and engineering best practice ? Working closely with Product Managers to shape roadmaps and delivery ? Remaining hands-on with development, code reviews, and complex technical challenges ? Coaching and mentoring engineers through regular 1-1s and career development ? Championing modern engineering practices, including AI-assisted development tools ? Collaborating with wider engineering teams on platform-wide initiatives What we're looking for 6+ years' experience building production software Previous technical leadership experience within an engineering team Strong backend development skills in C#/.NET (or Java, Kotlin, Go) Experience with React, Vue.js, or similar front-end frameworks Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture Cloud experience (AWS preferred) CI/CD and modern software delivery experience Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Passion for mentoring and developing engineers Nice to have Enterprise systems or integration experience Previous people management responsibilities Experience with platform modernisation or transformation programmes Exposure to ERP, CRM, or other business-critical platforms Why join? ??
