This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience within a professional IT environment while working towards a nationally recognised Level 4 Network Engineer qualification. You'll develop technical expertise, work alongside experienced IT professionals, and build the skills needed for a successful career in networking and infrastructure. The Role: As a Network Engineer Apprentice, you'll play a key role in supporting and maintaining the organisation's IT infrastructure. You'll gain exposure to a range of networking technologies and support the delivery of reliable and secure IT services. Key Responsibilities: Assisting with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure. Supporting the monitoring and performance of network systems. Troubleshooting network, connectivity, and hardware issues. Assisting with the implementation of network security measures. Supporting user access management and system administration activities. Helping maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks. Recording, tracking, and resolving IT support tickets. Assisting with network upgrades, projects, and documentation. Working with internal teams and third-party suppliers to resolve technical issues. Ensuring IT systems comply with security and operational standards. Entry Requirements: The right to work in the UK Lived in the UK continuously for the past 3 years GCSE English and maths minimum requirement at grade 3 or above (or equivalent) A qualification or part qualification or work experience in a related area at a lower or the same level is also required.
