About The Practice

The Station Practice is a high-achieving GMS training practice based in Hastings, a vibrant seaside town. We serve approximately 18,000 patients from a single site over two floors, located close to the train station in The Station Plaza Health Centre.

Our team includes 2 GP Partners, 3 Salaried GPs, Mental Health Practice Nurse, Practice Nurses, Pharmacy Team, Physiotherapists, and a strong administrative and reception team.

We are an active member of the Hastings and Rother PCN and deliver a full range of enhanced services. We are a supportive and democratic team with a strong focus on development and wellbeing

Main duties of the job

The role includes clinical consultations (face-to-face and telephone), home visits, management of long-term conditions, prescribing in line with guidance, and handling administrative duties such as referrals and documentation.

You will maintain accurate clinical records using EMIS Web and work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team.

Job Summary

We are excited to offer a salaried GP vacancy under the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS). This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified GP within 2 years of completing their Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).

We offer 6-8 sessions per week on a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027, with potential for extension and a possible permanent role thereafter. The post includes NHS Pension Scheme enrolment.
