NG General Operative (NG Person substation) Location: Ipswich IP3 9BF Rate: £18.35 per hour - PAYE only Hours: 07:30 - 18:00 Duration: 2 Months A leading power and utilities contractor is currently seeking an NG General Operative (NG Person substation) to support works on a National Grid project in Ipswich. Duties include: Supporting site teams working within a live National Grid substation environment Assisting with general labouring and operational tasks to support project delivery Coordinating with supervisors, engineers, and plant operators Assisting with safe lifting and material handling operations when required Maintaining clean, organised, and compliant work areas Adhering to National Grid and site safety standards at all times Carrying out tasks as directed to support ongoing construction activitiesRequirements: NG Person Substation EUSR Utility SHEA Power Manual Handling Emergency First Aid at Work Plant & Vehicle Marshal (PVM) Slinger Signaller COSHH Awareness Fire Safety AwarenessIf you are interested in this NG General Operative (NG Person Substation) position based in Ipswich, please apply and the team will be in touch.
