Night Despatch Supervisor

Alexander Steele are working in partnership with a well-established food manufacturing business in Derbyshire which are looking to recruit a Night Despatch Supervisor to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience within a fast-paced FMCG or food manufacturing environment and be confident managing warehouse or despatch operations on shift.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee despatch operations Manage the smooth and efficient running of all despatch activities, ensuring orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.
• Lead the night shift team Supervise and support a team of despatch operatives, allocating workload, setting priorities and ensuring high performance throughout the shift.
• Maintain health & safety standards Champion a strong health & safety culture, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed across the despatch operation.
