ABOUT THE ROLE As a Night Senior Carer at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. Main duties of the job

As a Night Senior Carer at Barchester, your role focuses on the varied needs of residents, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care and support. You'll supervise and motivate a team of Care Assistants, working closely with the Deputy General Manager. You'll assist the clinical team with tasks such as medication, assessments, care plans, or reviews. As a Senior Care Assistant, you must respect resident dignity and preferences. We require an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, and essential knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. Compassion and commitment to individualized resident care are key. Career development through ongoing training is supported, allowing progression to roles such as Care Practitioner, Regional Carer, or nursing roles.
