PIP Functional Assessor £40,000 - £42,000 basic salary £1,000 retention bonus after 6 months (subject to performance) £1,000 retention bonus after 12 months (subject to performance) WCA Functional Assessor £42,000 - £43,000 basic salary £1,000 retention bonus after 12 months (subject to performance) Additional Rewards One-off 5% quality bonus after successfully completing training £2,000 payment when you begin carrying out face-to-face assessments (typically within your first six months) Quarterly performance bonus after 12 months, with the opportunity to earn up to 2.5% per quarter   What's Included Hybrid working Full-time or part-time opportunities (4-day week available) Monday to Friday working pattern No nights, weekends or bank holidays 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Paid professional registration fees Company pension Health and wellbeing support Comprehensive training programme Clear progression into Clinical Coaching, Quality Assurance, Audit and Leadership   The Role As a Disability Assessor / Functional Assessor, you'll use your clinical expertise to assess how a person's health condition affects their day-to-day life and functional ability. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting telephone, video and face-to-face assessments Reviewing medical evidence and supporting documentation Assessing the impact of physical and mental health conditions on daily living Producing accurate, evidence-based reports Applying clinical judgement in line with DWP guidance and quality standards This is an assessment role rather than a treatment role, giving you the opportunity to use your clinical knowledge in a different setting while continuing to make a positive impact.   What We're Looking For You'll need: Current NMC, HCPC or GPhC registration Minimum of one year's post-registration experience Adult clinical experience Strong communication and report-writing skills Good IT skills We welcome applications from: Registered Nurses (RGN, RMN and RNLD) Occupational Therapists Physiotherapists Paramedics Pharmacists Please note that sponsorship is not available for this position.   Ready to Find Out More?
